Falling
With no
direction, the coaster rides,
All over, in
our lives,
Without
invite or cause,
We're
wounded from its claws.
To duck, to
smite, to hide,
No way found
to stem that tide,
Flowing
endlessly today,
I'll let it
through, I say.
It fools you,
so it does,
From castles
built from up above,
Hiding away,
your possible truth,
Sifting
sorting, past the proof.
Then just
when you absorb the lie,
Built
defences crack and die,
You're
buried under forgotten sighs,
Only now, do
you feel its disguise.
Back to the
start it appears,
Once more to
instill the old fears,
Start to
build a new wall,
Of a castle
from which to fall.
